What Happens To Sydney Radio If Alan Jones Isn’t On Air Anymore?
This is interesting. Mark Day has nailed this Blog in the Australian. Great reading, especially this bit: “The trick for 2GB and its rivals will be to identify emerging talent from the ranks of 35-year-olds and try to draw listeners from the FM band.” AMEN!

Finally – Joe Cocker’s Lyrics Revealed!
This made me laugh heartily. Some clever people with way too much time on their hands have deciphered Joe Cocker’s lyrics from his Woodstock performance of With A Little Help From My Friends. The bit that really kills me: The picture that goes with the words “Somebody’s Dad is waving over there”. I don’t know why, but it made me laugh until I cried. Enjoy.

Best…News…EVER!!!
THE Beatles’ entire record catalogue is to be released in digitally remastered form for the first time later this year, their music company said.
The 14 records are set for worldwide CD release on September 9, the same day as a video game of the Fab Four, titled The Beatles: Rock Band, said Apple Corps Ltd and EMI Music.
The albums have been remastered by engineers at EMI’s Abbey Road Studios in London over a four-year period, using state-of-the-art recording technology combined with vintage studio equipment.
“The result of this painstaking process is the highest fidelity the catalogue has seen since its original release,” said a statement.
Each CD will come with replicated original album art and original and newly written liner notes and rare photos. For a limited period, each CD will also be embedded with a brief documentary film about the album.
It will be the first time the first four Beatles albums will be available in stereo in their entirety on compact disc.
In addition each album will include, in QuickTime file format, newly produced mini-documentaries on the making of each album, including archival footage, rare photographs and never-before-heard studio chat.
